Thanks for the link to Video LAN Client, it truly is an amazing piece of software! It opened and played the video portion of this movie perfectly on my PowerBook. (No audio, but when I went to various other sites and found the same movie posted, no audio there either in WMP: "unsupported codec.") I'm guessing that this is kind of a sloppy file, since I had no problems seeing AND hearing other AVI files that I've collected using VLC.

Thank you again nLite10, for a brilliant little software program!

I think you can also convert avi to a more common format like mov
